Jean Yvon is simply AMAZING!

He’s very sensible and sensitive. He always finds the "right words" to give me this little "kick" which really helps to improve, to find solutions and move in the right direction.

Sometimes he doesn’t even need words, just a glance and a big warm hug help! Every single time by him is different, he seems always to know what’s the "best" for today and he recharges you with a wonderful, deep and sunny energy.

His way to give a massage is insightful, he chooses the right intensity, rhythm and accompanies me in a deep relaxation which allows me to "let go", to feel lighter and more powerful.

  • A Traveling fee of R 100 will be applied for traveling outside of the 20 Km radius of Cape Town.
  • Chi Journeys will not be held responsible for any injury to the body and loss or damage in the room.
  • Monday to Friday: 11am - 8pm
  • Therapies at different times can also be arranged. Please ask for details & prices.
  • Late arrivals will have their treatment times reduced accordingly.

Please note the following terms and conditions apply in general:

  • All treatments are available by appointment only. Please call or email Jean Yvon direct to book a treatment.
  • Please let me know if you have any medical conditions such as allergies, reactions or recent operations, are taking any medication, or if you think you may be pregnant.
  • I operate 7 days a week however Prior Appointment is necessary. Please contact me to discuss further.
  • If you would like to make a booking please email jeanyvonchijourneys.com or call me, phone number is to find on each city prices list.
  • Prior to your appointment time, please remove any jewellery and/or hair accessories.

When treating you in your own home or hotel, I would like to recommend the following points:

  • Please choose an area where you can be completely relaxed and not disturbed by other household noises such as the television, radio and telephone.
  • It's important to also choose an area where it is at a constant temperature that is comfortable to you. 
  • Or if you prefer to be outside, an area where you will be sheltered from the elements such as direct sun, wind and rain. And not disturbed by bugs and insects. 
  • If you would like to take a shower or bath, I would recommend that you take a warm shower or bath prior to your massage.

There are certain conditions that will prevent me to treat you. Please read above before making a booking:

  • Cold or flu - massage can make it worse in the short term
  • Pregnancy - only with doctor or professional health advice
  • After recent surgery, whiplash or other serious injury (wait up to 3 months post injury/surgery)
  • Skin conditions such as eczema, burns or sores, allergy, etc. must be notified to us at time of booking 
  • Fever or high temperature 
  • After recent alcohol intake - preferably no alcohol 24 hours or at least 12 hours prior to your massage treatment. In the case of heavy alcohol intake, please allow 48 hours to lapse before your next treatment. 
  • Cancer - only with doctor or professional health advice
